Sonja Schirmbeck vodi ured Zaklade Friedrich Ebert za Hrvatsku i Sloveniju od srpnja 2021. Prethodno je vodila FES-ov ured u Vijetnamu s fokusom na klimatsku i energetsku politiku te je radila u Berlinu na odjelu za srednju i istočnu Europu. Nakon boravka u nekoliko arapskih zemalja, doktorirala je na području međunarodnih odnosa.

Tijana Defar je suosnivačica ureda Zaklade Friedrich Ebert u Hrvatskoj 1996. godine. Glavni fokus joj je promicanje demokracije. Trenutno radi na projektima u Hrvatskoj i Sloveniji koji promoviraju socijalnu demokraciju te se intenzivno bavi pristupima participativnog odlučivanja građana.
