What do freedom, equality, justice and solidarity mean in our everyday lives? In our new podcast, we explore these core values through practical examples: accessible healthcare, fair wages and a green transition that protects workers. We discuss freedom as protection from discrimination and exploitation, justice as the fair distribution of resources, and solidarity as society’s shared responsibility to support those who need it most. Through our conversations, we also explore how equal access to education can open doors for every child.

The beginning of the school year is the perfect time to ask an important question: what kind of schools do we need for the world of 2035? Should schools simply pass on knowledge and facts, or should they also prepare children for life, uncertainty, change and new technologies? Artificial intelligence is changing the way we learn and work – how can education prepare children for the future?

The future of education is also a question of fairness. Children do not all start from the same starting point. Where they are born, their family circumstances, income, and access to resources and support can all have a significant impact on their opportunities. Is it fair to offer everyone the same rules, or does fairness sometimes mean providing additional support to those who need it?

In our first episode, we speak with Boris Jokić about his vision of quality education.

The conversation is hosted by Daniel Berdais.
