Image: Creator: FES Zagreb After five years, we bid farewell to our Director, Sonja Schirmbeck, and warmly welcomed our new Director, Felix Eikenberg. We wish Sonja every success in her new role, where she will head the FES office in Cairo. At the same time, we look forward to introducing Felix to our projects, partners, and everything that lies ahead in the coming period. Felix Eikenberg assumed the position of Director of the FES Office for Croatia and Slovenia in June 2026. During his 25 years with FES, he has worked at both the international and domestic levels, primarily in the Middle East, as well as on domestic policy and civic education in Germany, based in Berlin.
